So I ordered an EEE PC a month ago and it was on backorder, they've been hard to get. Mine shipped Friday and the following Monday they announce a new version. Isn't that always the way? (Mine arrived today/Wed.)
The new one will be the same body but with more screen (less screen border). But I assume it'll be more money, so whatever. But it just figures.

Crystal decided to use M's laptop keyboard as a SCRATCHING PAD and tore out several keys! How wonderful for this to happen when we have no money!

I'm peeved about this; the webcams for one of my favorite podcasts has this statement on the page now:
"Per the request of our affiliates The Tech Guy show will no longer
stream video. Sorry about that. They were concerned that it was
undermining listenership to their own broadcasts." I've
already said what I have to say on the twit forums, but, basically,
that sux. The "old guard" is afraid of the new technology and is
going to cause a LOSS of listeners.
Today we worked on the "old house", pulling moulding away from the walls, cutting drywall, looking for the source of the terrible mold smell. I even went to Home Despot to get a respirator cuz the mold smell was making feel sick. We're gonna have to get an inspector in there. Idunno how we're ever going to sell it. :(
We just went night-swimming. It feels so good to go night-swimming after a hot day, no sunburn, then come into the A/C and freeze our *sses off. I love it.
I am still wrestling w/ keeping my cpap mask on all night. Subconcious nighttime Me keeps taking it off, while the concious daytime Me WANTS to use it so I'll feel better and be healthier.
I need to find a solution to PhpBB spam!
Went to Crispers for lunch today. Took the dogs for a drive last night.
The power jack on my main laptop (which is my main computer on my desk) is lose and is causing headaches.
I ran into an old friend from high school this week! We got together for coffee a couple days later. That was so fun. I hope we can stay in touch, it was so fun!
